Click & CollectTemplers Telux general purpose flux is suitable for potable systems. So what is potable water? This is defined as water that is safe for drinking, cooking, and washing.
The UK WRAS (Water Regulations Approval Scheme) emphasizes that it is very necessary for any soldered joint to remain untouched until the solder joint has cooled and solidified and then any surplus flux should be wiped from the outside of the pipe.
