REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and restriction of Chemicals)

 As a distributor of products containing chemical substances manufactured in or imported into the European Union, we recognize our responsibility as a vital link in the communication between suppliers and downstream users.

The REACH legislation for controlling of chemicals in Europe, which came into force on the 1st June 2007 and subsequently regularly updated, includes a candidate list of substances, that due to their chemical nature deem them to be Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). The REACH SVHC List of substances is available on the shown link.

As of the 16th January 2019, there are 197 substances on the SVHC list.

ANNEX XIV - REACH Authorization list

Substances subject to authorization under EU REACH regulation. The substances are selected from REACH SVHC list and they cannot be placed on the market or used after a given date, unless an authorization is granted for their specific use, or the use is exempted from authorization. ANNEX XVII - Conditions of restriction

Currently, there are 69 entries considered valid restrictions on the manufacture, placing on the market and use of certain dangerous substances, mixtures and articles. REACH Annex XVII can be downloaded from the following link. 

As a responsible supplier within the supply chain, it is our intention to ensure that any information received from the manufacturer, relating to SVHC and the REACH candidate list, whether a present or future inclusion and that could cause supply issues, we will notify you the customer immediately. 

It is also our responsibility to ensure that Health and Safety information is supplied to you on the hazards and risks of the products we supply. Safety data sheets can be obtained by either downloading from our website, e-mail or by post.
