RoHS Statement of Compliance

The RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC restricts the amount of six environmentally hazardous substances found in electrical and electronic equipment.

These are:
· Lead (Pb)
· Mercury (Hg)
· Cadmium (Cd)
· Hexavelent Chromium (Cr(VI))
· Polybrominated biphenyls flame retardents (PBB)
· Polybrominated Diphenyl ether flame retardents (PBDE).

Somerset Solders Ltd, as a distributor and stockist of both RoHS and non-RoHS products for the manufacture of electronic assemblies, will supply products that meet compliance where stipulated.

It is the intention of Somerset Solders Ltd to deal only with Manufacturers and Suppliers that can demonstrate that products, components and materials are manufactured in an environmentally responsible manner and in accordance with the RoHS directive.

We therefore guarantee that the product(s) supplied as RoHS Compliant (including accessories and packaging material) delivered directly or through our associate Manufacturers / Suppliers, do not contain the chemical substances listed above or which fall within the legal limit as specified within the RoHS Directive.
