These details apply to your use of this website and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Pricing

All prices stated are UK £ sterling and are quoted exclusive of VAT. Website prices are current at time of publication but are subject to change without notice. Please call a Customer Service Representative for current pricing, quantity and volume discount prices. We reserve the right to correct any misprints.

Sales Tax (VAT)

Applicable VAT will be added to all orders in the UK and for non-tax registered Companies in the EU. If your Company is a member of the EU and tax registered please select your Country followed by (VAT Registered) and zero tax will apply. We do also require a valid tax registration number.

Payment Types

Payments can be made in £ Sterling, Euros € and US $ Dollars. We accept leading Credit Cards and all transactions are securely processed. No Credit Card information is retained by Somerset Solders Ltd. We also accept Paypal and Wire Transfer transactions.

Opening an Account

Companies wishing to open an account should contact a customer service representative.

Shipping

All items are shipped prepaid and by carriers of our choice. Shipping costs are detailed at this link: http://www.somersetsolders.com/page.php?xPage=delivery.html Express shipping methods are available on request.

Orders are generally shipped in 2 to 3 working days but may be extended for some products. Contact a Customer Service Representative for details. We will endeavour to ship the total order but any item currently not in stock will automatically be put on a back order.
Some products are deemed not transportable out of the UK due to their hazardous nature.

International Orders

Somerset Solders Ltd welcomes International Orders. If a particular destination Country is not shown at the Checkout please contact a Customer Service Representative and this will be set up to process your order.

Discrepancies

We aim to complete all orders accurately and in a timely manner, however if a discrepancy has occurred with a shipment, please contact a customer services representative within 5 days of receipt of order.

If you do not inform us within 5 days, then we will have no liability for items said to be damaged or faulty on delivery.

Damaged Shipments

Consignee should verify all items for damage before accepting delivery. If damage has occurred please notify the carrier and contact our Customer Service Representative. All claims must be made within 5 days of receipt.

Return Policy

Please contact a Customer Service Representative for an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) prior to returning. All items must be in their original packaging. Returned items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee and must be returned within 30 days of receipt. We do not accept returns of consumable items used.

Complaints

We want all our customers to be completely satisfied with our service. We will deal with complaints effectively, fairly and confidentially.

Privacy

Somerset Solders Ltd does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when the order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details given to any other third party.
